KUSA Networking Event 2019

On December 20th, 2019, the annual “KUSA Networking Event” took place in Prishitna to gather all KUSA members and partners. Everyone that was once part of the U.S.Government – funded programs and has turned back to Kosovo can be a member of our vast community.

At the end of every year, KUSA Networking Event serves as a networking and socializing platform for our members and partners to discuss what they have been up to during the year.

The Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Prishtina, Nick Jacobbe, spoke at the opening of the event. He emphasized the importance U.S. Alumni engagement in their communities.

“For some of you, this is through volunteering and direct involvement in community activities.  For others, making a difference means working to make the government institutions more transparent, and helping deliver services to citizens more efficiently.  Other alumni are developing new technology, building a better business environment, and improving the education system. Whatever alumni are doing, and wherever they are in the world, they are applying the experience they gained in the United Sates to finding creative solutions for challenges at home.” Said Chargé d’Affaires Jacobbe.

Through different KUSA activities and projects, the Alumni could get involved and apply their U.S. experience in their communities.

For showing great engagement in various KUSA projects, Nora Latifi Jashari was awarded with the KUSA Alumni of the Year Award and Erblin Hoxha with the KUSA Emerging Leader. We are happy to mark yet another successful year for KUSA!
